In addition to being able to drive up to 352 segments directly, the LC75809PT can also control up to 12 general-purpose output ports. Because it has the PWM output of a maximum of 6ch, the brightness control of the LED backlight of RGB×2 can be done. Incorporation of an oscillation circuit helps to reduce the number of external resistors and capacitors required.
