MIC5163 Dual Regulator Controller for DDR3 GDDR3/4/5 Memory Termination General Description Features The MIC5163 is a dual regulator controller designed 0.75V to 6V input supply voltage specifically for low voltage memory termination Memory termination for: DDR3, GDDR3/4/5 applications such as DDR3 and GDDR3/4/5. The MIC5163 Tracking programmable output offers a simple, low cost JEDEC compliant solution for Logic controlled enable input terminating high-speed, low-voltage digital buses. Wide bandwidth The MIC5163 controls two external N-Channel MOSFETs Minimal external components required to form two separate regulators. It operates by switching between either the high-side MOSFET or the low-side Tiny MSOP-10 package MOSFET, depending on whether the current is being –40°C < TJ < +125°C sourced to the load or being sinked by the regulator. Designed to provide a universal solution for memory Applications termination regardless of input voltage, output voltage, or load current; the desired MIC5163 output voltage can be Desktop Computers externally programmed by forcing the reference voltage.
