These devices are suitable for system and display panel control in a wide range of applications, including pagers, remote controllers, and home appliances equipped with an LCD display. The HD404878 Series comprises low-voltage, 4-bit single-chip microcomputers with no on-chip A/D converter. Each series is equipped with a 32.768 kHz sub-resonator for realtime clock use, providing a time counting facility, and a variety of low-power modes to reduce current drain.
