The two amplifiers share a common bias network and power supply leads.
Otherwise, their operation is completely independent.
The LM1458 is identical to the LM1558 except that the LM1458 has its specifications guaranteed over the temperature range from 0°C to +70°C instead of −55°C to +125°C.

Dual-In-Line Package (Top View) See Package Number D (R-PDSO-G8) or P (R-PDIP-T8) These devices have limited built-in ESD protection.
The leads should be shorted together or the device placed in conductive foam during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to the MOS gates.
