The device can provide 2A output current from a 4.75V to 23V input supply. The AIC2822’s current mode architecture and external compensation allow the transient response to be optimized over a wide range of loads and capacitors. Current mode control also provides cycle-bycycle current limit. The AIC2822 provides over voltage protection and thermal shutdown. An adjustable soft-start prevents inrush current during turn on.
