The IC is suitable for flyback converters and forward freewheeling rectification. FAN6224 can be applied in Continuous or Discontinuous Conduction Mode (CCM and DCM) and Quasi-Resonant (QR) flyback converters based on a proprietary linear-predict timing-control technique.
