Application Note
Description August 1999 The VR41xxTM 32-/64-bit MIPS® RISC microprocessors are members of NEC’s VR4100TM family of devices for Windows® CE handheld computer applications. The VRC4171TM companion chip for the VR41xx contains a PC CardTM controller, additional general-purpose I/Os, and an LCD graphic display controller. This application note explains operation of the VRC4171A’s LCD graphic display controller and connection of graphic displays to the VR41xx evaluation board.
