CAT6611 Single-Link HDMI Transmitter Data Sheet ver. 1.0a, 2006/12/21 Free Datasheet http://www.datasheet4u.com/ CAT6611 Single-Link HDMI Transmitter Data Sheet General Description The CAT6611 is a high-performance and low-cost single channel HDMI transmitter, fully compliant with HDMI 1.1, HDCP 1.1 and backward compatible to DVI 1.0 specifications. The CAT6611 serves to provide the most cost-effective HDMI solution for DTV-ready consumer electronics such as settop boxes, DVD players and A/V receivers, as well as DTV-enriched PC products such as notebooks and desktops, without compromising the performance. Its backward compatibility to DVI standard allows connectivity to myriad video displays such as LCD and CRT monitors, in addition to the ever-so-flourishing flatpanel TVs. Aside from the various video output formats supported, the CAT6611 also supports up to 8 channels of I2S digital audio, with sampling rate up to 192kHz and sample size up to 24 bits. CAT6611 also support S/PDIF input of up to 192kHz sampling rate. By default the CAT6611 comes with integrated HDCP ROMs which are pre-programmed with HDCP keys that ensures secure digital content transmission.
