The typical dropout is only 0.11 volts at 1 amp. An external shutdown/reset function is ideal for power supply sequencing. This device also has latching overload protection that requires no external current sense resistor. The MSK 5910RH is radiation tolerant and specifically designed for many space/satellite applications. The device is packaged in a hermetically sealed 20 pin flatpack that can be lead formed for surface mount applications.
