It is intended to be a replacement for the MRFIC0916 and is housed in the smaller SOT-343R surface mount package. As with the MRFIC0916, this device is designed for general purpose RF applications, yet has improved high frequency gain and noise figure. On-chip bias circuitry sets the bias point while matching is accomplished off-chip, affording the maximum in application flexibility.
