The S-1702 Series includes a voltage regulator with high-accuracy output voltage of ±1.0% allowing to use a ceramic capacitor of 1.0 μF or more, and a voltage detector that monitors the output/input voltage of the regulator. It also includes an overcurrent protection circuit that prevents the output current from exceeding the current capacitance of the output transistor and an output forcible discharge circuit for the regulator operation off.
