35-Channel Contact Monitor
General Description
The MAX20091 is a 35-channel automotive contact monitor for automotive applications. Ten contact monitor inputs can be used with either ground- or battery-connected switches; the other 25 inputs are for use with groundconnected switches.
The IC operates over a 5.5V to 28V voltage range and withstands voltages up to 42V. It protects lowvoltage circuitry from high voltages and reverse-battery conditions. The IC’s low-current operation under all operating conditions makes it suitable for use in electronic control units (ECUs) that are connected directly to the automotive battery. The IC has an adjustable scan mod.

Automotive High-Voltage, High-Brightness LED Controller
General Description
The MAX20090 is a single-channel high-brightness LED (HB LED) driver for automotive front-light applications such as high beam, low beam, daytime running lights (DRLs), turn indicators, fog lights, and other LED lights. It can take an input voltage from 5V to 65V and drive a string of LEDs with a maximum output voltage of 65V.
The device senses output current at the high side of the LED string. High-side current sensing is required to protect for shorts from the output to the ground or battery input. It is also the most flexible scheme for driving LEDs, allowing boost, hi.

1200MHz to 2500MHz Adjustable RF Predistorter
General Description
The MAX2009 adjustable RF predistorter is designed to improve power amplifier (PA) adjacent-channel power rejection (ACPR) by introducing gain and phase expansion in a PA chain to compensate for the PA’s gain and phase compression. With its +23dBm maximum input power level and wide adjustable range, the MAX2009 can provide up to 12dB of ACPR improvement for power amplifiers operating in the 1200MHz to 2500MHz frequency band. Lower frequencies of operation can be achieved with this IC’s counterpart, the MAX2010. The MAX2009 is unique in that it provides up to 7dB of gain expansion and 24° of phase expansio.

Integrated TFT Power Supplies and LED Backlight Drivers
General Description
The MAX20070/MAX20070B are highly integrated power supplies and LED backlight drivers for automotive TFT-LCD applications. The devices integrate one buckboost converter, one boost converter, two gate-driver supplies, and a boost/SEPIC converter that can power one to two strings of LEDs in the display backlight.
The source-driver power supplies consist of a boost converter and an inverting buck-boost converter that can generate voltages up to +15V and -15V. Both sourcedriver power supplies can deliver up to 100mA. The positive source-driver supply regulation voltage (VPOS).

General Description
The MAX2003/MAX2003A are fast-charge battery chargers (with conditioning) for NiCd (nickel cadmium) or NiMH (nickel-metal hydride) rechargeable batteries. The MAX2003A has the same features as the MAX2003 with an additional pulsed trickle-charge mode to prevent dendrite formation in NiMH batteries. Each can be configured as a switch-mode current regulator or as a gating controller for an external current source. Switch-mode current regulation provides efficient energy transfer, reducing power dissipation and the associated heating. Gating control of an external current source requires minimal components, saving space and cost. On-chip algorithms determine charge termination, so the MAX2003/MAX2003A can be used as stand-alone chargers. Fast-charge termination is accomplished by five methods: temperature slope, negative volt.
