T his tra nsmit mo dule builds upon RFMD’s leading power amplifier with PowerStar® integrated power control technology, pHEMT switch technology, and integrated transmit filtering for best-in-class harmonic performance.
T he re sults ar e hi gh p erformance, re duced so lution si ze, an d ea se of implementation.
The device is designed for use as the final portion of the transmitter section in a GSM8 50/EGSM900/DCS1800/PCS1900 hands et an d eli minates the n eed f or a P A-toantenna switch module matching network.
The R F7161 f eatures R FMD’s l atest i ntegrated power-flattening c ircuit which s ignificantly reduces current and power variation into load mismatch.
Additionally, a VBATT tracking feature is incorporated to maintain switching performance as supply voltage decreases.
The RF7161 also integrates an ESD filter to provide excellent ESD protection at the antenna port.
