com AP8012 AC-DC PWM CONTROLLER OFF-LINE LOW STANDBY-POWER PWM CONVERTERS DESCRIPTION FEATURES The AP8012 combines a Pulse Width Modulation  Integrated 800V avalanche-rugged power (PWM) controller and a 800V power MOSFET, MOSFET specifically designed for a high performance off-line  85V to 265V wide range AC voltage input converter with minimal external components.
AP8012  Semi enclosed steady output power offers complete protection coverage with automatic self-recovery feature including Cycle-by-Cycle current  6W(DIP8)@85~265VAC Frequency modulation for low EMI limit (OCP), Over Temperature protection (OTP),  Burst-mode Operation Undervoltage Lockout protection (UVLO) ， VDD  Built-in Soft Start over-voltage protection (OVP), and soft-start.
Burst  Internal HV Start-up Circuit mode operation and device very low consumption  Excellent Protection: helps to meet the standby energy saving regulations.
Over Current Protection (OCP) Excellent EMI performance is achieved with Over Temperature Protection (OTP) frequency modulation.
The device consists of a high Undervoltage Lockout protection (UVLO) voltage start-up circuit in order to reduce the system set-up time.
The device provides an advanced  VDD over-voltage protection (OVP) Available in DIP8 Package platform well suited for low standby-power and APPLICATION cost-effective flyback converters.
The AP8012 is available in DIP8 packages.
