The device uses Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) method to build discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) flyback power supplies.
The WS2580 provides accurate constant voltage and constant current (CC/CV) regulation without requiring the opto-coupler and the secondary control circuitry.
